Spirit Fest at Westmoreland County Museum

Saturday, December 5, 2026

Museum open: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Parade: 2:00 p.m.

Celebrate the holiday season with the Westmoreland County Museum and the Westmoreland Mercantile & Museum Gift Shop during Spirit Fest! Stop by the historic courthouse for a free, festive family photo opportunity. Bring your phone or camera and take your own pictures in our holiday setting.

Then visit the Mercantile for refreshments and a little holiday shopping! Discover a surprise at our Mystery Gift Sale, featuring wrapped gifts for $5 and $10. It’s a fun way to find a gift while supporting the museum.

Looking for a meaningful present? Consider giving a museum membership to someone who loves local history. Your support helps us preserve and share Westmoreland County’s stories through exhibits, education, and community outreach.

The Spirit Fest parade begins at 2:00 p.m., followed by the Spirit Fest ceremony at the Old Courthouse. We look forward to celebrating the season with you!
