Led by certified genealogist Sam Maner (45+ years of experience), these sessions offer rare access to proven research methods, expert insight, and practical tools you can immediately apply.


Part I: Foundations

Date: April 21, 2026 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Begin your journey with a focused introduction to genealogy research. This session is ideal for those just starting or looking to strengthen their approach.

You will learn how to:

  • Begin tracing your ancestry with confidence

  • Locate and interpret historical records

  • Verify lineage and build accurate family connections

  • Navigate the unique challenges of African American, Native, and mixed ancestry research

This class sets the groundwork for meaningful and well-documented family history research.



Part II: Advanced Research

Date: April 21, 2026Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Take your research further with advanced techniques designed to help you overcome common roadblocks and uncover deeper connections.

You will learn how to:

  • Work with complex and limited historical records

  • Resolve conflicting information across sources

  • Strengthen and verify lineage with greater accuracy

  • Navigate more challenging aspects of multi-ethnic genealogy research

This session is ideal for those ready to go beyond the basics and dive deeper into their family history.
