Just in time to honor those who fell in the service of America's military, the busts of the three American presidents born in Westmoreland County are ready for viewing. The busts are the anchor feature of the 1941 Charles F. Gillette Presidents' Garden at the Westmoreland County Museum in Montross, Va. The busts were carefully refurbished by expert statue restorer Tim Hinson, a local to Westmoreland County who has restored statues and headstones at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as the statue of Abraham Lincoln in the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. and thousands of other stone monuments and headstones. As we honor those who have served and died in America's service, take a moment to enjoy this small garden dedicated to the three presidents from Westmoreland County who supported our nation's military.
